Clergy Day Information

On Thursday, June 28th, there will be a pre-conference day just for bishops, priests and deacons. In keeping with the theme of “Disciples Together in Mission”, we will have two main speakers for the clergy day.

The morning presenter will be Dr. Mary Healy, Scripture professor at Sacred Heart Seminary in Detroit. She was also appointed by Pope Francis as a member of the Pontifical Biblical Commission. She is also president of the International Catholic Charismatic Renewal Theological Commission. Dr. Healy is author of numerous books.

In the afternoon our presenter will be Damian Stayne—founder of Cor et Lumen Christi Community in England. He is an internationally recognized Catholic lay evangelist. He has recently published the book, Lord, Renew Your Wonders, which gives an incredible testimony of his ministry.

Both speakers will be talking on the New Evangelization and how dioceses/parishes can begin to use the charisms to bring people to personal encounter with Christ and into spiritual maturity.
Cost is $50 for this day only and clergy can register on line. Clergy of other faith traditions are also welcome.
